What stays on your device

Everything you type to get your reading (name, birth date, birth time, birth city, language, theme, journal entries when you are signed out) is stored in your browser on your device. It is never sent to our servers. The only exception is the text you type into the birth-city search, which is sent out to look up the place (see below).

What we collect

• Account (optional). If you sign in with Google, Apple or an email code, we store your email address, a display name if you give one, your language and your account ID. You need an account only to buy Pro and to chat with Kochi.
• Purchases. Which plan you have and until when. Card and payment details are handled by our payment partners (Paddle). We never see your card number.
• Kochi chat. The messages you send to Kochi and its replies, kept for 30 days so the chat can continue, then deleted. You can clear them any time. We also send Kochi a small set of codes from your reading (for example your Day Master element and today's score), never your birth details or name.
• Luck journal (when signed in). One line, an emoji and a "ritual done" tick per day, so it can sync between devices.
• Birth-city search. The search text goes to our server and on to a geocoding service (Open-Meteo) to return coordinates and a time zone. It is cached briefly and not logged against you. If our server cannot be reached, your browser asks Open-Meteo directly.
• Anonymous usage statistics. Cookieless page and feature counts (for example "onboarding completed"), with no birth data and no advertising profile.
• Errors. Technical error reports with personal data scrubbed.
• Email preferences. If you opt in to "Your weekly luck", your address and a one-click unsubscribe token.

Who helps us run Enerchi (processors)

Vercel (hosting and cookieless analytics), Supabase (accounts and database, Singapore), Upstash (rate limits and short-lived caches), RevenueCat (subscription status), Paddle (payments and tax as Merchant of Record), Anthropic (the AI behind Kochi), Resend (email), Sentry (error reports). Each receives only what it needs for its job.

How long we keep it

Account data until you delete your account. Kochi messages 30 days. Payment records as long as tax and accounting law require (Paddle keeps these as Merchant of Record). Anonymous statistics in aggregate.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (including GDPR and UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA in California and Indonesia's Personal Data Protection Law No. 27 of 2022) you can ask to access, correct, export or delete your data, object to processing, and withdraw consent. In the app, Me → Export my data and Me → Delete account do this yourself. Otherwise email enerchi@anoran.id. We do not sell or share personal data for advertising.

International transfers

Our providers may process data outside your country, including in Singapore, the United States and the EU. Where required we rely on standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards.

Children

Enerchi is not for children under 13, or under 16 in the EU unless a parent or guardian agrees. If you think a child gave us data, write to us and we will delete it.

Security

Traffic is encrypted, access to data is limited and database rows are protected by per-user rules. No system is perfectly secure, so we also keep as little as possible.

Changes

If we change this policy in a meaningful way we will update the date above and, for big changes, tell you in the app or by email.
